Auckland born & trained, Jodi grew up learning Tap, Ballet & Jazz which then led to the addition of other styles including Contemporary, Hip Hop & Cabaret among others. While in NZ, she taught for many years at Auckland West Dance Academy whilst performing at Burgundy's of Parnell, captaining the Skycity Cheerteam & dancing in many live shows.

After taking up a scholarship at The Edge performing arts in LA, Jodi then left NZ in order to accept a contract as a dancer onboard the Pacific Sun Cruise Ship which then led to a career spanning many countries including Australia, India & the UK. It was while she was in Australia filming a childrens TV, Raggs, as one of the main characters that her interest in circus was sparked after seeing one of the Cirque du Soleil shows & found herself pursuing as many classes as she could in the aerial arts both in Sydney with Aerialize & in London with Aircraft circus. She returned home in 2012 where she is once again sharing her knowledge teaching both dance & Aerial Arts, but that doesn’t mean she has stayed far from the stage, with credits including Et Lux for Auckland Pride Festival 2016, Between Worlds with the West City Concert Band and of course live children’s shows for the Entertainment Store that keep her inner child alive!

Jodi loves staying on top of all the new developments in the aerial world, including unique new moves & safety procedures & this lead her to travel to LA early 2016 to work with instagram legend, Jill Franklin of Aerial Physique, in order to complete an advanced level teachers training course.

She is now super excited to share her passion for being in the air with the students at Apollo & help them to meld the dance & circus worlds!!
