Rosita Hendry recently graduated from the national circus school in Montreal at the start of June after 3 years of full-time training. After two weeks of performing her graduating show, she started rehearsals for a show with Cirque du Soleil that is running over the summer in Quebec. It's in a beautiful theatre that seats 3500 people, and doesn't have a wall at the back so when you are up high in the air you look out over the water. She is performing two main numbers, Aerial Rope and Cyr Wheel, and is also privileged to be playing the main character involving many other things throughout the show.
Following this contract, she will start working on another show with Cirque Eloize (one of the three main circus company's in Montreal) which will be touring internationally.
Rosita has recently visited New York and Hawaii for a must needed and well-deserved rest. She is feeling refreshed and still remembers her training at Apollo which set her on this fantastic journey.
